Who It's For
Anyone curious about trying a new art process, experimenting with natural materials, or creating a handmade keepsake from their time at Camp Bramble. This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for all experience levels—no previous art or craft experience needed.
What You'll Do
Learn the basics of cyanotype, an early photographic printing process first developed in the 1840s and famously used by botanist Anna Atkins to document plant specimens. Using sunlight and light-sensitive materials, cyanotype creates beautiful blue-and-white botanical prints.
In this workshop, Lindsey and Cleo will guide you through the process of creating your own cyanotype tote bag. You'll learn how the process works, select botanicals and materials to create your design, and experiment with composition and placement before exposing your tote to sunlight.
Your organic canvas tote bags will come pre-treated so that the workshop time can focus on learning the technique, creating your design, and enjoying the process. You'll rinse your tote after the workshop, and it will be ready to take home on Sunday filled with your Camp Bramble memories.

⏰ 6:00–7:30 PMJoin us for a relaxed, hands-on printmaking workshop at Allagash Bungalow! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to carve your own linocut design using soft eraser blocks and turn it into a repeatable stamp.
Once your design is carved, you’ll print it onto two cotton tea towels, creating functional, one-of-a-kind pieces to take home (or gift). We’ll cover basic carving techniques, simple composition ideas, and printing tips so you leave with something you’re genuinely proud of—no experience needed.
The instructor, Cleo, has her BFA in art education with a focus in printmaking. Her favorite form of printmaking is woodcarving- a sister process to linocut. She will break down the basics of block printing, but this class is also great for if you have attended one of our past linocut classes. There are ways to always build off of what you have already learned.
All tools and materials are provided, including carving tools, inks, and tea towels. Just bring your creativity (and maybe a drink from the bar 🍺). Tea towels are also a great size for napkins.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to Maine Solidarity Fund who provides direct, rapid support for immigrant and trans mainers for bail, housing, healthcare and legal needs.

Join us for a hands-on evening of creativity and print your own citrus tea towels! Learn the basics of printing by carving a citrus fruit and using paint to make a cute & summery design onto your very own tea towels!
We’ll guide you through the entire process and you’ll get to take home two towels that you can use in your home or as a unique gift!
✨ No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and enjoy a creative night out with a glass of wine in hand at the cozy Angoor Wine Bar.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring a citrus of your choice if you have a preference.

Learn the basics of block printing by carving your own stamp using soft erasers—perfect for custom cards, gift wrap, or just for fun.
After carving you will get to make a test print, along with a few other prints on paper. You also get to take home your eraser stamp for future projects on your own!
Enjoy a glass of wine while you carve, sip, and create in a relaxed setting, while connecting with fellow crafters. No experience necessary and all materials are provided.
