Linocut Eraser Printing Workshop

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on printmaking workshop at Allagash Bungalow! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to carve your own linocut design using soft eraser blocks and turn it into a repeatable stamp.

Once your design is carved, you’ll print it onto two cotton tea towels, creating functional, one-of-a-kind pieces to take home (or gift). We’ll cover basic carving techniques, simple composition ideas, and printing tips so you leave with something you’re genuinely proud of—no experience needed.

The instructor, Cleo, has her BFA in art education with a focus in printmaking. Her favorite form of printmaking is woodcarving- a sister process to linocut. She will break down the basics of block printing, but this class is also great for if you have attended one of our past linocut classes. There are ways to always build off of what you have already learned.

All tools and materials are provided, including carving tools, inks, and tea towels. Just bring your creativity (and maybe a drink from the bar 🍺). Tea towels are also a great size for napkins.

Needle Felting Workshop @ Argenta Brewing Company

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of needle felting while creating your very own pom pom garland from start to finish. Choose your colors, felt soft fluffy pom poms, and string them together into a garland that’s perfect for decorating your home or gifting to someone special.

No prior experience is needed — this workshop is beginner-friendly and guided step by step. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished, handmade garland and the skills to keep felting at home.

We’ll also explore a new art process—using Play-Doh transfers and ink to print Halloween-inspired objects right onto your pages! Think ghosts, bats, pumpkins, and more—each one adding texture and personality to your zine.

During this workshop you'll learn the basics of linocut printmaking and create your very own unique totebag. This is a guided workshop to help you through every step of the process, from carving your design to printing on fabric. No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity! 

All supplies are provided, including linocut tools, materials, and a totebag to print on. By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a custom-designed totebag, your handcarved block, a new skill to show off, and hopefully a new friend too!
