Join us for a relaxed afternoon of cyanotype-making outdoors at 50 Cove St.!
Cyanotype is a fun, low-tech photographic printing process that uses sunlight to create beautiful blue-and-white images. You’ll arrange flowers, leaves, and other objects to make your own unique designs, then let the sun do the magic. ☀️💙
We’ll be working outside in the parking lot, with the option to make a cyanotype on 2 pieces of paper. You will have the opportunity to prep your paper, and learn hands on how the process works. No previous art experience necessary — just come hang out, get creative, and enjoy a seltzer while you make something!
Materials will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring your own special little objects to print with—pressed flowers, leaves, lace, feathers, found objects, or something sentimental that you’d like to turn into a keepsake.
